What reviewers found
Synthesized across the trust-weighted source mix below.
Across the reviewers we read, the Polaroid Now Gen 3 is positioned as the cheaper, simpler sibling to the Flip. PCMag's regional review calls it a 'slightly upgraded version' of the original Now+ with the same one-button operation and cheeky '90s-style exterior. r/Polaroid first-impressions threads on Gen 3 are notably warmer than for prior generations — one top comment summarizes 'it took them three attempts, but at last they nailed it,' citing the improved light meter and twin-lens autofocus.

Best Buy verified buyers — a high-trust retailer source — repeatedly praise the print quality but pile onto the same complaint: 'only comes with 8 pieces of film and only takes official, super pricey Polaroid' film. Dan Finnen's review nods that the Gen 3 finally feels like a competent modern descendant of the classic 600-series box cameras.
The Amazon 4.2 average across 1,173 reviews reflects this split: people love the look, dislike the running cost, and a minority report exposure inconsistency. For someone who specifically wants Polaroid's square format and aesthetic on a budget, reviewers point here.

Beware The Price is extortionary high. The Polaroid Gen 3 Camera is excellent from feel to using the Product great experience other than the price its cool to have.
The Polaroid Now+ Generation 3 ($139.99) is a slightly upgraded version of the first-edition Now+ that I reviewed a few years ago. Like its predecessor, the Now+ mixes a cheeky '90s-style exterior with simple one-button operation, and more creative features available via a Bluetooth-connected app.
Very nice! People love their I-2 and SX-70 slr for good reasons, but I think these simple automatic box cameras really embody the polaroids at ...
The new Polaroid cameras have stopped working (and never worked great). While it's nice that they're still trying, they're really just focusing on selling film.
