The honest counterweight comes from specialist communities: r/laptops threads repeatedly flag the V-series for unimpressive display panels and merely adequate build quality, with some users steering buyers toward refurbished ThinkPads instead, and one owner noting short battery life on an IPS configuration. As a no-frills business laptop with full-size ports and a numeric keypad, it earns its place, but the consensus is to buy it for utility, not for a premium experience.

The Lenovo V15 is great for everyday use, such as browsing, handles docs, or watching videos. But it may not be the best if the tasks are GPU intensive.
This isn't fresh from the factory btw. A 3rd party added more ram. 40gb of ram but 512gb ssd btw... but it has a decent price.
