What reviewers found
Synthesized across the trust-weighted source mix below.
Across the reviewers we read, the BowFlex SelectTech 840 is the most space-efficient pick, replacing roughly six bells in one compact unit. Garagegymreviews.com, a high-trust source, gives it 4 of 5 stars and calls it strong value, and a 4.8 Amazon average across more than 7,600 reviews reflects broad satisfaction with the quick weight-change system. The disagreement is sharp on r/kettlebell, however: users repeatedly say it works for RDLs, squats and swings but is "terrible for get-ups," with balance issues that make cleans and snatches clumsy, and warn the plastic internals can break if dropped.

It works for me for RDLs, squats, and swings. Its terrible for Get-ups. I do not like it as a kettlebell but it can be functional in some ways.
The weight is adjustable up to 40 pounds. Generally most men will need to use heavier weights for important drills, most of the time.
