I love this bottle, but I’m a fancy person. If you’re not really into fancy things or being a fancy person then you may not want it. after running the uv light, the water tastes really clean. I would trust it with tap water but…
It's great for filtering tap water wherever you go. I use it constantly. The big stem in the middle is clumsy and hard to get through ice cubes.
It might UV treat your bottle, but it certainly won't filter water from a public fountain to improve the taste. Sounds gimmicky.
