What reviewers found
Synthesized across the trust-weighted source mix below.
Across the reviewers we read, Angry Orange is the most polarizing pick in this roundup, and that's reflected in the trust-weighted signal mix. It carries the highest Amazon review volume in the category (128,779 ratings at 4.3) and a high-trust r/CatAdvice endorsement from a reviewer who turned to it after Nature's Miracle failed. What reviewers liked
- Largest verified-purchase review base in the category (128k+ Amazon ratings)
- r/CatAdvice (high-trust) reviewer recommends it as a fallback when other cleaners failed
- Strong orange scent reported by community to deter cat remarking
- Works on hard and soft surfaces per retailer reviews
Where it falls short
- r/Pets thread describes the citrus scent itself as unpleasant
- petful.com cites common complaints about the spray nozzle design
- Home Depot reviewers note the scent doesn't last long
- Strong-fragrance approach rather than scent-neutral enzymatic — not for fragrance-sensitive households

The disagreement is loud and worth surfacing. An r/Pets thread titled "angry orange enzyme cleaner smells so weird to me" reports the citrus scent itself reads as off-putting to some users, and petful.com flags common complaints about the spray nozzle and scent intensity. Home Depot verified-purchase reviewers note the scent doesn't last long, which cuts both ways depending on whether you want lingering fragrance or quick dissipation.
The trust-weighted conclusion: this is a defensible pick when the primary problem is strong odors on hard surfaces and you want a scent-forward citrus approach, but reviewers who prefer fragrance-free or enzymatic neutralization will find better matches elsewhere in this roundup.

Bought it on Amazon and it doesn't smell great. It kind of stinks and almost smells similar to cat pee but not quite.
We use nature's miracle enzymatic urine & odor cleaner for tough stains. Works miracles for cleaning, the smell isn't my favorite but it fades pretty quickly.
