It was shockingly outperforming nearly all over vacuums at a lower price point. And there are specific reasons. Most vacuums have enough suction for the job.
I agree with avoiding Shark, bought a Shark Navigator liftaway last year($200) and cannot handle flour, and it's suction isn't as good as my $80 ...
