Are 3-in-1 blower/vac/mulcher combos worth it?

Reviewers are split. r/lawncare and r/toolporn posters who use the vac function for fall cleanup say the mulching ratio is excellent and a metal impeller is a meaningful upgrade. But homedepot.com and r/harborfreight commenters repeatedly note the vacuum struggles with wet leaves and large debris, and the collection bag strap can be uncomfortable for extended use.
