Budget grinders such as the AVID POWER models and DongCheng carry solid customer ratings for occasional DIY use, and the red AVID POWER unit has an unusually large verified-purchase review count. However, their ratings sit below the premium DeWalt, Makita, and Milwaukee tools, and we had no independent durability testing to corroborate longevity. They're reasonable for light, infrequent work but less proven for heavy daily use.
