Are budget smartwatches like the Amazfit Bip 6 actually any good?

At $80, the Bip 6 is widely treated by reviewers as punching far above its price — with AMOLED display, built-in GPS with offline maps, and two-week battery. The tradeoffs are a less mature app ecosystem and health-tracking algorithms that don't match Apple, Samsung or Garmin.
