Are clip-on curtain robots or motorized tracks better?

Clip-on robots (SwitchBot, Aqara) are cheaper and reuse your existing rod, but they can be noisier and depend on your curtain gliding smoothly. Full motorized tracks (Quoya, Osprey.Life) deliver quieter, more consistent travel and a cleaner look, but cost two to four times as much and require mounting a new rail.
