Are cordless battery-powered heating pads worth it?

Community threads in r/endometriosis and r/Interstitialcystitis say cordless pads are genuinely useful for moving around the house or wearing under clothing, but they don't get as hot as plug-in models and battery life is the constant complaint. Treat them as a complement to a plug-in pad, not a replacement.
