Are flat-free (no-flat) tires worth it?

Several picks here advertise no-flat or flat-free 10-inch tires, and across the reviewers we read, puncture resistance is a recurring selling point for anyone hauling brush, thorns, or debris. The tradeoff buyers mention is a slightly harsher ride over rough terrain compared with pneumatic tires.
