Are the 10X and 12X Amazon magnifier lamps as good as Brightech?

Across the reviewers we read, the cheaper 10X/12X imports score well on raw magnification power and brightness, but reviewers in r/CrossStitch and r/paintbynumbers repeatedly flag inconsistent build quality, gooseneck arms that droop over time, and shorter warranties. Brightech models cost more but draw far more long-term-ownership comments.
