Are the heat and massage features on inversion tables worth it?

Reviewers are skeptical. In r/backpain, multiple users describe the 'massage' function as little more than loud vibration that doesn't help and can make it harder to relax. If decompression is your goal, the heat/massage upgrade appears to be a low-priority add-on across the reviewers we read.
