Are ultra-short-throw (UST) projectors worth it versus a standard projector?

UST projectors sit just inches from the wall, eliminating ceiling mounts and long throw distances, and the better triple-laser models pair them with strong brightness and wide color. They cost more and generally need a flat, dedicated wall or an ALR screen to look their best. They suit living rooms where a traditional long-throw setup isn't practical.
