VOHC acceptance means the product has submitted data showing meaningful plaque or tartar reduction, and r/dogs and r/DogFood threads we read repeatedly point to that seal as the single most useful filter. Greenies and Virbac C.E.T. VeggieDent FR3SH are the two VOHC-accepted products most frequently cited by veterinarians in the discussions we surveyed. Daily brushing is still considered the gold standard; chews are an adjunct.
