Are wireless/battery cameras or wired cameras more reliable?

Across the reviewers we read, wired PoE systems are considered the most reliable for 24/7 recording, though even Reolink owners on r/reolinkcam and r/homesecurity report occasional missed detections. Battery and solar cameras win on installation ease but draw complaints about cold-weather drop-offs (aosu) and finicky Wi-Fi/sync placement (Blink).
