Can travel slippers double as shower shoes?

Only some. Foam, EVA, or flip-flop style travel slippers with closed-cell construction can handle shower use because they dry quickly and don't absorb water. Fleece-lined or sherpa-style packable slippers will get waterlogged and aren't suitable for wet environments — buy a separate pair if you want shower coverage.
