Clamp mount or grommet mount, which should I pick?

Reviewers across the threads we read overwhelmingly default to the C-clamp because it's reversible and doesn't require drilling. Grommet mounting is preferred when your desk has a pre-cut hole or when you're mounting heavier displays and want the most rigid possible anchor. Both methods are equally stable on a quality desktop at least 0.4" thick.
