Do I actually need a bottle sterilizer?

Specialist subreddits frequently note that a dishwasher on a sanitize cycle is sufficient for healthy, full-term babies, but pumping parents and NICU parents in the communities we read overwhelmingly recommend a dedicated steam sterilizer-dryer because pump parts don't dry well in a dishwasher and air-drying takes hours.
