Do I need a full-face respirator or is a half-face enough?
Reviewer consensus
Half-face plus separate safety goggles covers most DIY painting, woodworking and resin work, and is what most expert reviewers default to. Full-face makes sense when you need eye protection from the same vapors (CBRN scenarios, heavy solvent spraying, tear gas) or you wear glasses and can't get a goggle seal. Expect to pay 2–8x more for full-face.
