Do I need a regulator or adapter hose?

Most portable grills ship configured for 1 lb disposable propane canisters. If you want to run them off a standard 20 lb tank for longer cooks or lower fuel cost, you'll need a separately-purchased adapter hose, and on some models (notably the Weber Q1200) reviewers note the manufacturer specifically recommends Weber's own hose.
