Only if you want to top up while you drive. Wireless charging mounts (such as the 15W MagSafe charger in this pool) add convenience but cost more, run warmer, and charge slower than a wired connection. If you mostly take short trips or already keep a cable handy, a non-charging magnetic or clamp mount is cheaper and just as secure.
