Do I need an anti-rebound bar or load leg?
Reviewer consensus
Neither is federally required, but both are anti-rotation features that reduce how far the seat moves in a frontal crash. Load legs (found on the Clek Liing) and anti-rebound bars (found on the Graco SnugRide SnugFit and Joie Rue) are increasingly common on mid- and upper-tier seats and are generally regarded as a meaningful upgrade by child-passenger-safety reviewers.
