Most class-based mirrors (Echelon Reflect, Mirror by Lululemon, FITURE) require a monthly membership of roughly $30–$45 to unlock the class library, and reviewers at Garage Gym Reviews and Coach repeatedly note the hardware becomes much less useful without it. A small but growing category — including the open-Android 32" smart mirrors — explicitly avoids subscription lock-in and lets you sideload your own fitness apps.
