Do USB-C charging ports on table lamps charge phones fast enough?

Most of the bedside lamps we surveyed list USB-C output around 5V/2.1A, which is fine for overnight top-ups and tablets but well below modern PD fast-charging speeds. Reviewers consistently treat the ports as a convenience feature for nightstand cable management, not a replacement for a dedicated fast charger.
