Fujifilm Instax or Polaroid — which brand is better?

Reviewers across PCMag, Digital Camera World, and r/instax generally favor Fujifilm Instax for ease of use, more consistent exposures, and cheaper film per shot. Polaroid (per Dan Finnen and r/Polaroid threads) wins on classic square aesthetic and that distinctive look, but its film is more expensive and slower to develop.
