How do I choose the right rain cover size?

Rain covers are sized by pack liters (for example 30-40L or 50-70L). Match the cover to your loaded pack volume rather than the empty pack, and size up if you frequently strap gear to the outside. A cover that's too small won't seal at the bottom; one that's too large flaps in wind and can catch.
