Is a $400+ radar wall scanner worth it over a $60 multi-sensor unit?

Only for specific jobs. Reddit threads on r/Tools and r/handyman from users of the Bosch D-tect 120 and D-tect 200C say radar scanners earn their price when you're scanning through tile, plaster, concrete or looking for pipes and live wires before drilling. For ordinary drywall stud-finding, multiple high-trust community comments explicitly say a radar unit "does not do anything a $40 one would not do."
