Is a half-face reusable respirator better than disposable N95s for dust and fumes?

For repeated exposure to wood dust, paint fumes, solvents or resin, specialist communities like r/Masks4All and r/woodworking consistently recommend an elastomeric half-face with replaceable cartridges. They cost more upfront but the body lasts years, the seal is more reliable than a disposable, and you can swap filters (P95/P100 for particulates, OV for organic vapors). Disposables make more sense for occasional, short-duration tasks.
