Is a high RPM number meaningful when comparing blow dryers?

Listings here tout figures from 110,000 to 170,000 RPM, but RPM alone doesn't translate cleanly into airflow or drying performance, and none of these claims came with third-party airflow measurements in our data. Use RPM as a rough marketing indicator, not a verified spec, and prioritize products with high review volume and consistent ratings.
