Is the Wilson Evolution worth the money?

It's the most-discussed indoor ball we found, and most community reviewers call it a near-perfect grippy, cushioned shooter's ball. But high-trust r/Basketball threads also include dissenters who say it's too soft and light for serious play and wears quickly outdoors. It's a great indoor/gym ball; it is not a durable outdoor option.
