What is the difference between the MSR WhisperLite and the WhisperLite International?

The standard WhisperLite Compact is optimized to burn white gas (refined liquid fuel), while the WhisperLite International adds the ability to burn additional fuels such as kerosene and unleaded gasoline. If you travel abroad or want fuel flexibility for emergencies, the International is the more versatile choice; if you primarily use white gas at home, the standard model is simpler and a bit cheaper.
