What's the difference between clear, amber, and red blue light lenses?
Reviewer consensus
Clear lenses (ANRRI, Livho) typically filter around 30–50% of blue light and are designed for daytime computer use without distorting color. Amber lenses (Horus X, Spectra479) block significantly more — often 90%+ — and noticeably warm the screen, which is why they're marketed for gaming and evening use. Red lenses (TIJN's sleep model) block the widest range of blue and green light and are designed exclusively for the hours before bed.
