What's the difference between IPX7 and IP67 waterproof ratings?

Both mean the speaker can be submerged in up to 1 meter of fresh water for 30 minutes. The difference is the first digit: IP67 also certifies dust-tight protection, while IPX7 leaves dust resistance untested. For beach and desert use, IP67 (or IP68) is the safer pick.
