What's the difference between QD-OLED and WOLED?

QD-OLED panels (Samsung Display) are generally praised for more vivid color volume and higher full-screen brightness, while WOLED panels (LG Display) are often cited for better handling of ambient light and text rendering. Both have subpixel layouts that can cause minor text fringing compared to traditional IPS.
