Why are some of these products cheaper with way more reviews?

High review counts usually reflect how long a product has been on the market and how widely it's distributed, not necessarily superiority. A budget paste with tens of thousands of reviews can be a safe, proven choice, but Amazon ratings are gameable, so we cross-check rating volume against averages and price rather than treating review count alone as a verdict.
