Why are there RC helicopters that say 'transmitter, battery and charger not included'?

Those are BNF (Bind-N-Fly) hobby models intended for pilots who already own a compatible radio system and charger. They are not ready to fly out of the box, so first-time buyers should look for RTF (Ready-To-Fly) listings instead.
