Why is humidity hard to maintain in these terrariums?

Mesh screen tops are the culprit. Verified-purchase and community reviewers repeatedly note that screen-top enclosures (both glass and ECOFLEX-style) vent humidity quickly, and many keepers partially cover the mesh or seal seams with silicone to compensate. Front-opening designs and PVC enclosures generally fare better.
