Will it work if my Wi-Fi or power goes out?

Across the reviewers we read, most inline smart valves default to leaving water on during power loss, not off, so they will not protect against a leak that starts during an outage unless the unit has a backup battery or you have manually scheduled a vacation shutoff. Wi-Fi loss disables remote alerts and app control but generally does not stop on-device leak tests from running.
