Wood or metal: which raised bed lasts longer?

Across the reviewers we read, galvanized steel kits with powder coating are reported lasting 5+ years with no visible degradation, while wood beds (including cedar) are typically reported to show weathering and some warping within 2 to 4 seasons depending on climate.
