What reviewers found
Synthesized across the trust-weighted source mix below.
Across the reviewers we read, the Petcube Cam 360 is positioned as the entry-level Petcube option for shoppers who specifically want that ecosystem rather than TP-Link or eufy. au.pcmag.com, present in the scraped signals, frames it as a competent indoor camera with 1080p live video, two-way audio, and pan/tilt, but in the same review explicitly notes that competitors offer 'sharper 2K video, automatic motion tracking, a more reliable companion app, and more pet-specific features for roughly the same price.' That is unusually blunt for a published review and we treat it as load-bearing. Community sentiment is mixed.
What reviewers liked
- 1080p HD live video with 360° pan/tilt and night vision at a competitive price
- Two-way audio works well per r/puppy101 and r/cats discussion
- AI alerts and pet-focused app marketing fit pet-owner workflows
- Smallest retailer review footprint in this roundup but still 4.3/5 average
Where it falls short
- au.pcmag.com directly states competitors offer sharper 2K video and more reliable apps at the same price
- One r/dogs user reports being unhappy with both Petcube and Furbo, suggesting neither suited their needs
- Live-view-focused; r/puppy101 user describes it as 'live view only' compared to richer playback elsewhere
- Only 550 Amazon reviews, a much smaller verified-purchase footprint than Tapo, Kasa, or Furbo competitors

Community sentiment is mixed. r/puppy101 users in one thread report Petcube 'works fine' as live-view-only, while another r/dogs thread comes from a user who owned both a Petcube Cam and a Furbo and was unhappy with both. r/cats and r/PDXBuyNothing threads are more positive but generally on older Petcube models. The 1080p resolution and 105° wide-angle (per Petcube's own product page in the signals) are below current category leaders.
The Petcube Cam 360 is the right pick if you specifically want the Petcube app ecosystem or are gifting to a household already in it. For most buyers, the same money spent on the eufy E30 buys more capable hardware, which is exactly what the au.pcmag.com review concludes.

The Petcube Cam 360 ($52.99) touts itself as a way to "check on your pet anytime, from anywhere." It offers all of the basics of an indoor security camera, including a 1080p live video feed with two-way audio and pan and tilt controls, plus optional…
We have a PetCube, we didn't shop around so I'm sure there's better but it works fine. It is live view only.
This is a month and works surprisingly well as a petcam or just indoor security cam. i test smart products, so they just have to go once I'm done testing.
