What reviewers found
Synthesized across the trust-weighted source mix below.
Across the reviewers we read, the Gymreapers Lifting Wrist Straps land just behind the Harbinger as the most-recommended traditional strap, and they edge ahead specifically on wrist padding. garagegymreviews.com calls out the high-quality neoprene padding as a wrist-pain mitigator, and barbend.com's review of the broader Gymreapers wrist support line treats them as a solid mid-priced option. On r/powerlifting, a high-signal thread we read describes them as a current favorite with a good blend of stiffness and elasticity.
What reviewers liked
- Two high-trust expert sources (barbend.com, garagegymreviews.com) endorsed the build
- Specifically called out on r/powerlifting for stiffness-elasticity balance
- Thicker neoprene wrist padding than the cheaper Harbinger benchmark
- Very large verified-purchase base at a 4.7 rating reinforces the expert read
Where it falls short
- Costs a few dollars more than the Harbinger without a clear performance gap
- Some r/naturalbodybuilding users specifically prefer unpadded cotton straps
- 18-inch length is on the shorter side for axle or strongman implements
- Traditional lasso design means it's not ideal for max-effort deadlifts where a figure-8 locks in better

The construction follows the same template as the Harbinger — 18 inches of cotton with neoprene wrist padding — but reviewers consistently call the padding noticeably thicker and the build a bit more robust. That comes at a small price premium over the Harbinger, which is the main reason this lands at number two rather than number one in the consensus.
Where there's disagreement: some r/naturalbodybuilding posters say they prefer plain Harbinger cotton straps to anything padded, finding the neoprene unnecessary. Others on r/StrongerByScience flag that the added comfort genuinely helps them push through heavy sets. Both views show up in the data, and the right answer comes down to whether your wrists complain on heavy pulls.

agreed love these straps. Work well length of the straps are just right and they are cheap. Pretty cut and dry.
Personally I use these when I do strap up for higher rep sets. They're holding up fine after a year.
