The honest caveats come from the same high-trust threads. One r/Ultralight reviewer flagged that bone conduction got 'iffy' with a rain hood pulled up, an r/headphones owner described the sound as decent but muffled with controls that are hard to use, and reviewers broadly agree audio is solid-but-not-audiophile, with bass only emerging if you add earplugs. Several note the OpenMove sounds essentially identical to pricier Shokz models, charging via USB-C rather than a proprietary plug.
The synthesis: a comfortable, awareness-first bone-conduction headphone that's easy to recommend on price, with the usual format limits on sound and a few ergonomic gripes.

The audio quality is good—not audiophile-grade, but solid. For more immersive audio, I use earplugs, which brings out the bass frequencies ...
Love my Shokz, took them out for the first time on Friday. Only annoyance I found was the bone conduction was a bit iffy with a rain hood up.
