Across the reviewers we read, the DEWALT DWE575SB is the most-recommended corded sidewinder for users who want one do-everything circular saw. protoolreviews.com — a high-trust specialist outlet — highlights the easy-set metal bevel lever and the saw's ability to hit bevel angles up to 57 degrees that competing saws can't. - Up to 57° bevel with detents at 22.5° and 45°
- Very strong Amazon volume signal (4.8 stars, 5,170+ ratings)
Where it falls short
- Sidewinder torque profile is not ideal for all-day ripping vs. a worm drive
- One r/Dewalt user reported a defective included blade out of the box
- No included rip fence in the bare-tool configuration per retailer listings

Verified-purchase reviewers at Home Depot and Amazon (4.8 stars over 5,170 ratings) echo the same themes: at 8.8 lbs it's among the lightest saws in its class, and the electric brake is genuinely useful. The main negative signal comes from one r/Dewalt user who received a defective blade and a separate community comment preferring the corded version over older 18V models, neither of which contradicts the build-quality consensus. Reviewers do note this is a sidewinder, not a worm drive — if you frame for a living and rip thick stock all day, the torque profile won't match a SKILSAW 77.

I'd get a 6AH or bigger for one of those, also if it's usually corded get the actual 60v. Goes for grinders, sawzalls, table saws, chop saws etc ...
Light and powerful, very, very well built. It's one of those rare DeWalt tools that doesn't seem to be built to a price or to fit in a branding ...
