I first tried out the Bosch CM10GD. All the reviews say it's a great saw. In my experience, it's a piece of shit. Sure, it will be fine for carpentry/millwork.
It's plenty strong enough for anything I've cut - including 12/4 hickory, sugar maple, white oak and walnut. Also, the shadow line is fantastic.
