The consensus
What reviewers found
Synthesized across the trust-weighted source mix below.
Across the reviewers we read, the Mortal Kombat II Deluxe earns the most enthusiastic single-title fan response in the Arcade1Up catalog. A Walmart verified-purchase reviewer described it as 'everything you think it would be and more,' with 'very fine attention to almost every major detail,' and the 82-pound shipping weight tracks with reviewer comments about a cabinet that feels substantial when assembled. 286 Amazon ratings averaging 4.6 stars give it the second-deepest review pool in the candidate set.
What reviewers liked
- 4.6-star average across 286 Amazon ratings with consistent verified-purchase enthusiasm
- Single-piece Deluxe construction with BOE-brand IPS monitor noted favorably by r/Arcade1Up
- 14-game Midway Legacy lineup is one of the deeper themed libraries in the Arcade1Up catalog
- Walmart verified-purchase reviewers specifically called out build heft and attention to detail
Where it falls short
- r/Arcade1Up users explicitly wish for a 'pro version' with better controls, indicating the same mushy-button complaint applies here
- No high-trust independent testing source appeared in the signals for this specific cabinet
- Coin-door treatment was flagged by at least one Walmart reviewer as a missed opportunity for authenticity
- At roughly $500 it is priced near the PAC-Man Deluxe, which has a much larger review base

r/Arcade1Up commenters frame it as 'a nice looking machine' and note the single-piece riser-plus-cabinet construction, the BOE-brand IPS monitor, and a 14-game library spanning the Midway Legacy lineup. The subreddit's main caveat is the same one that follows every Arcade1Up SKU: enthusiasts wish for a 'pro version' with better controls. One thread sarcastically dismissed a single one-star Amazon review as someone who needs to 'turn in your gamer card,' suggesting unusually strong fan defense of this particular cabinet.
The synthesis: if you specifically want the MK II library in a Deluxe form factor, the verified-purchase consensus is very positive. If you do not have a specific Midway-Legacy itch, the more general-purpose PAC-Man Deluxe is the safer ranking pick.

Deluxe mk is a nice looking machine, would throw my money at A1Up instantly if they made a pro version though.
Gives me good memories and going to Circle K where my mom worked after school and playing the actual arcade game in the 90's.
