What reviewers found
Synthesized across the trust-weighted source mix below.
Across the reviewers we read, the Frida Mom 2-in-1 stands out for flexibility: it swaps between a manual hand-pump top and a hands-free silicone suction-cup mode. A high-trust babylist.com review reports customers like the ergonomic handle, gentle but effective suction, the few parts to clean, and the compact, travel-friendly size; the brand's own frida.com listing shows a 4.7 average across 246 reviews, and a Facebook group account called it a game-changer after never responding to manual pumps. General high-trust community sentiment on r/breastfeeding and r/ExclusivelyPumping is positive about manual pumps as portable, quiet, strong-suction backups, though those threads discuss the category broadly rather than this exact model.
What reviewers liked
- Switches between manual hand-pump and hands-free silicone suction modes
- High-trust babylist.com cites ergonomic handle, gentle effective suction and easy cleaning
- Compact, lightweight and quiet for travel and on-the-go use
- Affordable at around $22
Where it falls short
- A scraped target.com rating was just 1 of 5 stars
- Overall 4.2-star average is softer than the category leaders
- Limited independent expert testing specific to this newer model
- Community discussion is largely about manual pumps generally, not this exact pump

General high-trust community sentiment on r/breastfeeding and r/ExclusivelyPumping is positive about manual pumps as portable, quiet, strong-suction backups, though those threads discuss the category broadly rather than this exact model. Its 4.2-star Amazon average across more than 500 reviews is respectable but softer than the category leaders.
The caveats are real. A scraped target.com rating came in at just 1 of 5 stars (on a single rating), and the overall 4.2 average suggests more variability than the top picks. With less independent expert testing specific to this newer model, reviewers treat it as a promising versatile option rather than a proven workhorse.

I've used both and both emptied me pretty well. The medela definitely has stronger suction than the lansinoh. Both are pretty good though.
I love all the pumps I own. My favorites are the Momcozy and Medela, as they seem to empty me the best, though the Ameda also works very well.
