- Warranty and customer-service experience lags premium brands per community discussion
- Several reviewers note it pitches best with the included footprint, adding to total weight
Across the reviewers we read, the Naturehike Mongar 2 draws the most consistently positive trust-weighted consensus in this pool. r/Ultralight threads (high-trust community) repeatedly compare it favorably to tents costing three to five times more, with one commenter saying they'd "compare them to €300-€500 tents rather than" cheap competitors. r/camping users report it holding up in 40+ mph winds over multiple days, and r/CampingandHiking pegs the full package weight near 1.8 kg including groundsheet.
The updated 15D nylon version flagged on r/Ultralight is roughly a pound lighter than the older 20D model, which buys ultralight credibility but invites the usual fabric-durability caveats specialist communities raise about thin nylons. Retailer-tier listings emphasize the dual-door, dual-vestibule layout and double-wall ventilation, which the community threads broadly back up as condensation-resistant in real use.
No high-trust independent testing lab review of this exact model appears in the supplied signals, so the score reflects strong community and verified-purchase consensus rather than lab measurements. Reviewers' main concerns are typical ultralight-fabric caveats and the lack of a U.S.-equivalent warranty.

I agree its a solid tent & I've camped with it in 60-70km/hr (40'ish mph) winds and it was surprisingly sturdy under wind load for multiple days ...
It's a full pound lighter than last year's model, but it's made of 15D nylon now, as opposed to last year which came in 20D.
