The conflict comes from a medium-trust r/hardware thread reporting double-click issues on multiple units, a recurring Logitech complaint that reviewers treat as quality-control variance. Verified-purchase Best Buy reviewers highlight the updated Lightspeed wireless and HERO 25K sensor positively. Its premium price (around $114) is the main practical barrier flagged by shoppers.
The synthesis: if you want a button-heavy, comfortable wireless mouse and don't mind the weight, reviewers broadly endorse it, with the asterisk that some units develop click problems and RGB is a real battery drain.
